Just an FYI

I posted some pictures from Jared and Tonya's wedding on our blog.
(Yes, Jared and Tonya's wedding made it on our blog before our own wedding...)

Anyway, I was going to post them on the family blog, but I decided to do it on ours instead so I just wanted to let everyone know in case you wanted to take a look.

By the way, Chris--your last post made me laugh!
In light of the new pregnancy in the family:
"Has everyone talked to Jons and Celeste lately? : ) "
You're so funny! By the way, I am super excited about the great deal you got on your new fridge--does that qualify me for being totally lame???

School is still going really well for us. It's BYU's Homecoming week. We are so excited for the football game tomorrow! Its been nice to have something to look forward to during our busy week. I've been stationed here in the library writing a paper for the last six hours (just taking a quick blog break to maintain sanity). Jon just championed his first Econ test, and headed back to the Testing Center to conquer one more for the day!

Love you all!
~Celeste

In honor of BYU's Homecoming Week, please enjoy this picture of us bustin' a move at last year's Homecoming Dance w/ Marci (Hartley) and Mike Chapman. Please, don't let our sweet moves distract you from taking special note of Jon's face.

Newness

Hey, not trying to pressure anyone, but I'm ready for some major blogfest/picture fests! I mean, in our family we have: a new year of school in Salt Lake, Provo, Chicago, and Fruit Heights, new windows and stucco on the house in Layton, a new house in Memphis, a new apartment in Chicago, several new jobs, a new pregnancy, and a new trip to Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Oh, and of course a new fridge in Woods Cross. Come on, people! I want to see pictures and hear about them all!

Okay, I guess with all the newness, no one has time to write. Except me... well, my new fridge is great. If you really want to see a picture of that, you've got way to much time on your hands.

ps. Has everyone talked with Jons and Celeste lately? :)

Back To School To Prove We're Not the Fool

Just a quick note to let everyone know how much you are all loved, appreciated, and especially missed. We felt that mom's e-mail on Sunday was too true--it seems like the family is so spread out by distance these days. It was so nice to have those few weeks to spend together this summer.

Despite the distance between us all,
we Provoian Millers are excited to hear all about:

Dad's business undertakings in warm weather climates,
Mom's quest to shape the young minds of her cute class,
Mary's escapades in the landscapes of Cambodia,
Rob and Chris' daily adventures in parenthood,
Josh and Val's venture to home ownership, and of course
Jared and Tonya's enterprises in their new marriage and Chicagoian life (yes, I just made Provo and Chicago into adjectives- cut me a break, I'm not an English major for a reason).

As for us, its back to school! Despite Celeste's obvious sarcasm on the subject as displayed on our blog (take a look), we are incredible excited for the semester-energized and ready to work hard!

We send our love to the Millers all over the map,
Jon and Celeste

Welcome to Chicago

Yes, Tonya and I have arrived and the trip was a little adventure. Heading over to see Grandma and Grandpa we stopped by a slot canyon. Now, the map to the slot wasn't exactly the best (note to all y'all, don't take directions from a website that claims it found the place only 2 out of the 4 times it went), and the trail to the slot wasn't the most traveled, so basically I'm stalling trying to avoid the fact that after 28 years I still really don't know my left from right, and wandering for two hours in the middle of Next To Nowhere, Utah is an understandable and natural consequence to heading the wrong way down the river bed at the beginning of the trail. But the good news was it only took 2 hours to figure out the problem, and the rest of our adventure was spent in the slot, swimming, bouldering, wading, and just having fun. Tonya was a champ, we had to swim one part (and we weren't exactly sure how far we would need to go, but she just swam forward... neck deep in freezing cold water).

Well the whole trip was like that, one adventure after another. We stopped by and visited Grandma and Grandpa, talked and ate and talked some more. Around Vail, Co we drove through a summer snow storm, and in Denver we visited a friend of Tonya's went to dinner and talked some more. We then drove straight to Nauvoo where we went to the temple. We also took a carriage ride with ten young men who dressed well, sang excellently, and were wearing the same outfit... not that there is anything wrong with that. We later found out they were actually BYU students.....in a boy band....Vocal Point....., and it turns out that they were fantastic, but not really your type Mary, maybe your's Jons, but then again you're taken.

We then visited Tonya's sister and Brother-in-law whom we both love and then came up to Chicago. The Lord has been answering prayers for us daily. I'm amazed how blessed I am. The new apartment is great, I'll try to get a camera from the school so I can take pictures. Married life is great. Tonya is amazing. We love you all.

Watching old videos

Just to add another post to this blog, I thought I would write something short and sweet. Today, with Rob gone at a campout, we watched all of the movies that mom made. Then this afternoon, Kyle spiked a fever so we just hung out and watched the videos again. They are so great! You are all so great! Gosh we have had so much fun together. Anyway, thanks mom for making those. I think my favorite part was the candid camera where the boys were watching the High School Musical video while down at Moab and trying to learn the slick dance moves. Classic.

Love you all.

WE DID IT!

We finally got a family blog up and running....ok, I didn't personally do it, Chris did, but I am typing the first post so I get a little credit, but only a little. So in order to humor your mother, let's all start using this blog so we can stay connected. If you have a blog please list it under comments and Chris will link it to this site. So according to Chris all you have to do is check this site for all the family updates and family gossip....make it juicy please otherwise some of us won't read it. We'll let you know how to make your own posts via email, so stay tuned. Exciting, huh! love, mom
